Frequently Asked Questions
Where are Maskeraid face masks made?
Each and every mask we produce is designed, cut, stitched and finished in the UK. We are committed to keeping production within the UK and will never outsource production overseas.
What are Maskeraid face masks made from?
Cotton. Our current range includes cotton and cotton canvas outers which are differing thicknesses. This is shown on the product page of each mask in gsm (grams per square metre), the higher the number the thicker the fabric of the mask outer.
All masks are lined in best quality soft cotton jersey.
Are your face masks washable?
Yes, we recommend a 30 degree washing cycle and cool iron. Do not tumble dry.
Will a Maskeraid face mask will fit me?
Our masks are contoured to give an excellent fit, shaped around the bridge of the nose and sweeping beneath the eyes. The comfortable elastic ear loops can easily be adjusted with the toggles to give the perfect fit.
Why do you not recommend your masks for children?
Put simply, safety. The elastic ear loops could be a potential strangulation hazard if misused, and therefore we advise they should only be worn by those age 14 years and over.
Will wearing a mask protect me from illness?
Our masks have undergone no medical testing and we make no claims in this regard. They are a simple cotton barrier mask and do not include any filters, or have the option to insert filters.
